Pell Mell, released today, is the new single from Ontario’s Bronx Cheerleader. More mellow than previous single Mad Sam is Dead, but dripping with the same 100% pure, melted cool, it bobs lazily on tremolo waves, powered only by whispered, sometime-obscured vocals, one of those guitar solos that pings back and forth over a simple but seductive pattern of notes, and a xylophone (or glockenspiel) pling or two. In a word: dreamy.

Pell Mell is out today, on Yummy Recordings. An album, Hell in a Rocket, is expected later this year.
