Earlier this week Dutch indie chart-topping band Stillwave released new single Tarmac Plains. It’s the second in a series the band plan to release before heading into the studio in the Summer to record their debut album.

If you like heavy, driving, but melodic rock that sounds like the result of a genetic splicing experiment using Interpol and iLikeTrains as its subjects, carried out in a shoegazing laboratory run by - of all people - Ian Curtis (I know - who doesn’t, right?), then Tarmac Plains will be right up your street.

Tarmac Plains was recorded at the Mailmen studios in Utrecht, the Netherlands, with Martijn Groeneveld. You can stream it on Soundcloud and Spotify, and it’s available for purchase from iTunes.
